Gold List, Sommelier Wine Awards 2008
"Apricot and almost sweet hay on the nose, with a similar peachy-apricot palate, and creamy hints of vanilla. Spice shows through on the back palate and the finish. A very good wine with plenty of interest for the price. 'This could be a good by-the-glass point of difference' said one taster."
By-The-Glass Award, Sommelier Wine Awards 2008
"Sweeter and richer, this wine travels with the scallops rather than standing against them." Martin Lam, Ransome's Dock
Equal First - Cheese Matching with Camembert du Normandie
"This flowery, mineral flavour slightly cuts the richness of the cheese, with a good after taste said Tomasin."

Robert Parker Jr. - The Wine Advocate
"The 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape, which is dominated by Grenache, reveals plenty of garrigue, lavender, kirsch liqueur, and notions of pepper and earth. This dense, medium to full-bodied 2006 still has some tannins to shed, but it should turn out to be very good, possibly outstanding after bottling." 88-90 points. "A blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah, the 2006 Cotes du Rhone exhibits sweet, dense, chocolaty, black cherry fruit, medium body, touches of pepper and spice, and a soft finish. Drink it over the next several years." 87 points (The Wine Advocate #179, October 2008)

Côtes-du-Rhône Rosé

Tom Cannavan, www.wine-pages.com, July 2009
"Rosé Côtes du Rhône is still relatively rare on the shelves, and this blend of typical Cinsault, Grenache and Mourvèdre pours a deep cherry pink and offers subtle, red wine-like aromas of berry fruit, with strawberry to the fore, and a touch of herby undertone. On the palate it is bone-dry, with a big lemony core of acidity that would cut through mackerel, sardines or other oily fish with aplomb. Quite long and quite stylish. 88/100"
