Warwick estate is one of those producers that punch well above their weight. The wines are internationally recognised and can be found in some of the best restaurants around the world but you have to be quick to get your allocation of the stunning Trilogy or a few cases of the sought after but rare Cabernet Franc.
The team is led by Managing Director, Mike Ratcliffe. Mike has a global vision for Warwick, a result of many hours spent on an aeroplane and a belief that the Warwick wines can compete with the best in the world. Subtle changes to the packaging over the last few years have maintained the Warwick style while making sure that the brand remains fresh and vibrant.
2008 sees the launch of a new Warwick wine, the First Lady. This classic Cabernet Sauvignon based blend pays tribute to the massive influence that Norma Ratcliffe, Mike’s mother, had and continues to have on both Warwick and the South African wine industry as a whole.
