The Fletcher Family Riesling is made from a selected part of the Roncenvin Estate in Marlborough’s famous Wairau Valley, and is expertly farmed by Colin, Chris and Michelle Fletcher. The unique stony soils and low vigour Riesling vines produce fantastic grapes which are selectively hand harvested when superbly ripe. A finely flavoured wine with very pure citrus and floral characters. A lovely minerally texture and juicy finish.
Tasting note
Pale greenish straw in colour. Aromas of marmalade, fresh cut orange, citrus zest and hints of baking spices and orange pekoe tea. The palate remains fresh and is loaded with ripe citrus, mango and stonefruit flavours. Concentrated and succulent with generous natural sweetness and balanced acidity. A fine powdery textural line leads to a long juicy finish.
