Groote Post works to produce a delicate, fruit driven wine when making their unwooded Chardonnays. To this end the grapes are harvested early to ensure good acidity and temperatures are kept low during the pressing and skin contact period. This wine is a great partner to spiced south-east Asian foods.
Tasting note
An appealing citrus and hint of lime nose with a generous palate of marmalade and preserved ginger. Its full flavours and good length with a lively acid structure makes this an ideal food wine.
