Morgon is the second largest cru after Brouilly lies. The entire appellation lies within one village and produces generous, robust gamays which are fruit-forward. With a good cellaring potential Morgon comes close to a Burgundian Pinot Noir. Henry Fessy have 2 hectares of Morgon vineyards.
Tasting note
The colour is intense and the bouquet is expressive with pretty notes of red fruits and black cherry. The Cru of Morgon is known for its impressive structure which reveals itself in this wine with beautiful density.
