Beaune is the wine capital of the region and has played a significant rôle in the history of Burgundy. Les Vignes Franches is one of the best Premier Cru vineyards of the town, producing a wine that is persuasively elegant and graceful with a fragrant floral nose and yet well capable of ageing to perfection for a considerable period of time. This wine comes from Louis Latour's own domaine.
Tasting note
Clear and bright, brilliant red in colour. On the palate, intense and complex flavours of berries, coconut and liquorice are present. The wine is tender and harmonious with soft tannins, significant elegance and good aromatic persistence.
