The wines of Chassagne-Montrachet can be more oppulent than the wines from the neighbouring villages of Meursaulr and Puligny-Montrachet. “Morgeot” is a perfect example. It has a warm, tropical appeal that is hard to rival. A fresh, chewy richness precedes an opulent finish.
Tasting note
With a rich and fruity bouquet this wine is round with aromas of toasted bread. Fat and faithful to its appellation, it expresses power and a lasting finish on tasting, which will make it a great cellaring wine.
