Maison Louis Latour rigorously selects grapes from the well-exposed commune of Lugny, which 30 years ago, was the only village planted with Chardonnay due to a perfect terroir. Lugny is one of the top vineyards in southern Burgundy’s Mâconnais region, Mâcon-Lugny 'Les Genièvres' is simply an outstanding wine.
Tasting note
The 2010 Macon Lugny "Les Genièvres" is characterised by a pale yellow colour and an intense nose with notes of muscat. The mouth is ample and offers delicious aromas of exotic fruit, especially mango. Very beautiful spicy finish with a touch of ginger.
