The village of Marsannay lies to the south of Dijon and marks the northern gateway to the Côte d’Or. Marsannay received its Appellation Contrôlée as recently as 1987 in recognition of the consistently high quality of its wine. The wines are characterised by their robust and intense structure, influenced by the iron-based soils on which they grow.
Tasting note
Ruby coloured with expressive red berry fruit aromas. Menthol contribute freshness to the nose and palate. In the mouth, this wine is complex and good concentration and length.
