'A well-chosen new Côtes du Rhône from the oldest continuously operating winery in the Rhône (you learn something new everyday). Ripe but fresh, juicy, briary fruit with crunchy, pepper and spice flavours underpinned by a soft, structure-giving tannins. It's two thirds Grenache with 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and a little Carignan.'
