The Estate Collection Reserva range represents the purest expressions of each grape variety and are characterised by vibrant aromas and flavours. The Merlot is a blend of 91% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Syrah all from the Colchagua Valley. The 2010 growing season was cooler than average and as a result the wines are fresher, with greater natural acidity and lower alcohol levels. This wine can be drunk on release or cellared for up to 3 years.
Tasting note
This wine has a ruby red colour with violet highlights. On the nose it is quite fruity, with standout red fruit, berries, and cherries. Fresh fruit notes are evident on the palate, which is rounded and medium-bodied, crisp, and balanced.
