The Taylor family believe great wines are made in the vineyard. Their estate wines are crafted with care and seek to capture the essence of the vineyard site and the pure varietal expression of the grape.
Tasting note
Deep red with a vibrant purple hue. Aromas of rich blackcurrant, subtle star anise and a touch of eucalpt mark this wine. The French oak maturation is evident with subtle aromas of tobacco leaf, cedar and chocolate. The palate has great intesity with distinctive blackcurrant flavour and subtle cedar spice.

A single-varietal wine at its best, with the structure and power of Cabernet Sauvignon harnessed and expressed in a full, rich and concentrated mouthful, with typical tastes of leather, tar, mint and eucalyptus underpinning the intense dark-fruit flavours. A perfect match for robust casseroles or, if you are planning an Aussie-style event in defiance of the winter weather, with barbecued meats
