Jaraman wines are created from the fusion of two exceptional parcels of fruit from two iconic Australian wine regions. The result is a single variety wine which is multi-dimensional, highlighting and enhancing the nuances of both terroirs. This wine is combination of 80% Clare Valley with 20% Barossa fruit from the near perfect 2009 vintage.
Tasting note
On release, the wine is a deep opaque red colour with ruby hues. There are lifted aromas of spice, plum, red berries and violets along with chocolate and subtle cigar-box characters. The wine has a rich and mouth-filling palate with ripe dark berry fruit flavours, along with spice, chocolate and freshly roasted coffee characters. It is finely balanced with a linear acid line, grainy tannins, a warming finish and good persistence of flavour.

Fig, raisin, jam, dark plum and toasty oak on the nose. Tarry, ripe palate with bright, crunchy blackcurrant flavours. Very satisfying and nicely proportioned.
