The village of Marsannay lies to the south of Dijon and marks the northern gateway to the Côte d’Or. Marsannay received its Appellation Contrôlée as recently as 1987 in recognition of the consistently high quality of its wine. The wines are characterised by their robust and intense structure, influenced by the iron-based soils on which they grow. | |

Tasting note |
Of a lovely ruby red colour, the Marsannay 2011 reveals a nose of cherries and liquorice. It is round and elegant in the mouth with smooth tannins.
