Viré-Clessé lies in the north of Mâconnais between the towns of Tournus and Mâcon. It is one of Burgundy's newest appellations and was formed to bring together the villages of Viré and Clessé which until 1999 bottled their wines as Mâcon-Clessé and Mâcon-Viré. Viré-Clessé Chardonnay's are distinctly different from the southern Mâconnais appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran offering fresh, delicate wines with floral and herbaceous notes. | |

A fresh and delicate wine with a delicious floral bouquet of acacia alongside almond and citrus notes. Fresh, round with lovely minerality on the finish.
