Already known to the Romans, Vinzelles takes its name from the latin vincella which means small vine. From 50 hectares of mainly South, South-East facing vineyards, the appellation of Pouilly-Vinzelles encompasses the villages of Vinzelles and Loché and is a continuation of the predominantly limestone slopes of Chaintré and Fuissé. The vineyards of Pouilly-Vinzelles are exclusively planted with Chardonnay. | |

Tasting note |
The 2016 of this wine displays an intense floral nose with subtle hints of lemon. On the palate these flavours are complimented by flavours of honeysuckle and fresh almond, bright acidity and a beautiful freshness on the finish.
