Fixin (pronounced 'Fissin') is situated in the Côte de Nuits region between Dijon and Gevrey-Chambertin. The appellation received official recognition in 1936 and produces both appellations Village and Premier Cru. This wine has much in common with top quality Gevrey Chambertin at an affordable price.
