Marsannay
The village of Marsannay lies to the south of Dijon and marks the northern gateway to the Côte d’Or. Marsannay received its Appellation Contrôlée as recently as 1987 in recognition of the consistently high quality of its wine.The wines are characterised by their robust and intense structure, influenced by the iron-based soils on which they grow.

Tasting note This wine reveals a beautiful ruby color and is characterised by a floral nose with notes of peony, iris and clove. It is balanced, elegant and fruity. On the palate it reveals blackcurrant and spicy aromas with elegant tannins on the finish.
