Nuits Saint Georges is the most southerly village in the Côte de Nuits. The village was originally called Nuits but added Saint Georges, the name of one of its finest vineyards, in the 19th century. There are no Grand Crus in this village. The wines tend to be firm and usually benefit from a few years ageing. | |

Tasting note |
This wine is of an intense garnet colour. Aromas of blackcurrant and smoked notes emerge on the nose. The palate is fresh revealing soft oaky notes and aromas of blackcurrant and clove. On the finish the wine has a good length and persistence.
