The recently renamed Hazel's Vineyard (previously Rocky Road vineyard) lies in the headwaters of the Chapman Brook, near Witchcliffe. With a northerly aspect, the vines enjoy long days of sunshine, moderated by the vineyard's southern location. Vineyard management takes a back to basics approach at McHenry Hohnen embracing sustainable 'Old School' practices that were used before the rise of intense agriculture. | |

A lifted bouquet of crunchy white peach and ripe lemon with underlying sherbet and soft sweet dough. A fresh palate opens with ripe peach and nectarine with hints of ruby grapefruit, subtle texture from lees stirring in barrel adds complexity and mid palate richness.
